In Pittsburgh’s Central Northside, the future of the Olde Allegheny Community Garden is now secured.

Proactive Philanthropy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to assist corporations in maximizing their positive impact by leveraging a new category of resources - capital goods.

Companies donate the equipment they no longer use or want. Proactive sells the equipment and issues grants to non-profits with the proceeds. Proactive is a pioneer in using its innovative approach, utilizing capital goods to help spread greater good.
